In the Land of Plenty…
Au Pays de Cocagne, In the Land of Plenty, is an imaginary land, a utopian paradize where luxury abounds, ones needs are completely met and life is basically worry free. All societal restrictions are gone along with the harshness of peasant life.
This popular medieval myth inspired numerous poems, Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s oil painting Het Luilekkerland (1567) and more recently, this Hermes carre.
Step into Zoe Pauwels‘ Land of Plenty and want for nothing… except perhaps this scarf

A great example of Zoe Pauwels incredible skills and artistry. Whether draped over one’s shoulder or displayed on a wall, this carre and especially in this colorway is simply breathtaking!
