There were two versions of the Envol carre, both issued in 1995.

The scarf below is a special issue of the Envol scarf, “Taking Flight or Soaring”, and commemorates 50 years of the United Nations.

This Special Edition incorporates the slogan “We the Peoples of the United Nations united for a Better World for all“, which the original issue lacks.

Additionally, the number “50”, “United Nations” and the UN logo replace the name of the original Envol issue.

This Limited edition scarf was sold only in the San Francisco HERMES boutique as the United Nations were founded there on October 24, 1945.

No matter which issue, the Envol, should be part of every serious Hermes Scarf Collection.
