Hermes Silk Jacquard Scarf Carre, L’Instruction du Roy (en l’Exercice de Monter a Cheval) was designed by Henri d’Origny and first issued in 1970.
The inspiration and name for this absolutely gorgeous scarf came from an ancient French/German book of equitation, the art and practice of riding a horse, written by Antoine de Pluvinel in 1629

As jacquard silk scarves are very expensive to produce, Hermes has unfortunately stopped making these exquisite scarves
