La Ronde des Jockeys, The Circle of Jockeys, Hermes Silk Scarf was originally issued in 1969/70 and titled Ascot 1831.

Named after the Ascot Thoroughbred race in Ascot, La Ronde des Jockeys or “Circle of Jockeys” is an equestrian themed design created for Hermès by iconic French artist, Francoise de la Perrière.
Her design was first issued by Hermès in 1969 titled Ascot 1831. The design was reissued in 2004 and again in 2011 when it was retitled La Ronde des Jockeys.
De La Perrière’s design depicts twelve riders, each clad in his racing silks, sitting astride their thoroughbreds, as an homage to the one of the most prestigious thoroughbred race tracks in the world, the Ascot, located in Ascot, Berkshire, England. Created in 1711, every year it is the scene of the Royal Ascot, always attended by the British Monarch and other royalty.

This scarf is a retitled 2011 issue which was reissued by Hermès to commemorate Ascot’s 300 year anniversary.
