One of Annie Faivre‘s early designs, the Kimonos et Inros Hermès
carré is much simpler than her later designs. It also lacks her by now famous monkey.
In her design, Madame Faivre features four Japanese kimonos and several inros.
An Inrō is an ornamental box many times with several compartments designed to store personal items such as medicines or seals.
An Inrō, part of a traditional Japanese dress, is worn suspended from the waist sash or obi.

First issued in 1986, this somewhat elusive design is a must-have for any serious Hermès collector, particularly those who admire Annie’s work.
