Gibiers, Game, a design by Henri de Linares, has achieved what some might say GRAIL status despite its subject matter, becoming quite coveted by collectors.

The enduring appeal of Henri de Linares’ Gibiers likely stems from the artist’s meticulous rendering of the hunting trophies and his masterful layering of the composition.

Born in 1904, Linares was a prolific French artist renowned for his exquisite depictions of this subject matter.

His still life drawings, lifelike (the irony not withstanding), filled with such incredible detail, are reminiscent of paintings of the early 17th century Northern Renaissance artists. But luckily for us, we do not have to spend thousands to have one of those, we have the beautiful Gibiers Hermes carre, which is not just the ideal accessory but can easily double as a gorgeous wall display.
