To my knowledge this is the first design to be created digitally rather than by hand.

A remarkable element of depth is introduced in this 2007 design. The familiar riding implements—whips, stirrups, and bits—cast dramatic shadows, creating an illusion of space that elevates the carré to a spectacular level.

While equally spectacular, L’Instruction du Roy will always hold a special place in my heart.
