Beyond the Silk: My Heart in the Fields of Les Blés.

The enduring allure of Hugo Grygkar’s Les Blés (The Wheats) for me lies in its profound simplicity. In our fast-paced world, it serves as a gentle reminder of a simpler time, a pastoral ideal that I find incredibly appealing. [Link to Hugo Grygkar’s Bio]

Growing up in Central Europe, I have always connected with this design on a deeply personal level. My childhood was painted with endless fields, their green transitioning to a warm, golden sea under the summer sun.

Scarlet poppies, white daisies and vibrant cornflowers dotted the landscape, adding splashes of brilliant color.

I remember the wind creating mesmerizing waves across the stalks, the soft, rustling symphony that soothed my soul. And if I were lucky, truly lucky, I might spy a curious hare peeking its head out, offering his silent hello.
