Donner la Main (Giving your Hand) was designed by Karen Petrossian in 2002 and features women and men from around the world holding hands in unity.
In 2008 the Maison Hermes teamed up with FIDH (International Federation for Human Rights) and issued a special version, a rare Limited Edition, of this scarf that was only available through the FIDH website. The difference? FDIH’s name inside the inner circle in both French and English and this slogan in the outer circle
“All Human beings are Born Free and Equal in Dignity and Rights”
