Not Just any Plumes Hermès Carré but …

A Limited Edition of this much beloved design by Henri de Linares. The original issue dates back to 1953, but this special 2008 commemorative issue celebrates 40 years of Hermès in Luxembourg. Issued as a Limited Edition, this is a rare and difficult to find version of an already highly sought after design.

The original Plumes Hermès carré was designed by Henri de Linares and introduced in 1953. This Limited Edition [Blog explaining Limited Edition] celebrates 40 years of the Fashion House’s presence in Luxemburg.

According to Hermès the Plumes (Feathers) carré displays about 176 bird feathers which include plumage from a woodpecker, pintail duck, blue jay, pheasant, and the wren!
