Hubert de Watrigant (link to his Facebook page) was born in 1954 in the Landes, France, from a family belonging to the horse racing world.

Self-taught, he won a drawing prize in Rome in 1977 and has since taken part in trade fairs and exhibitions. He has worked for several years with the Hermès house for which he created, among other things, numerous carrés such as “Plaza de toros”, “Ballet équestre”, “Croquis de champs de courses”, “Saut d’obstacles”, etc. A renowned animal painter, he regularly exhibits around the world.

Thanks to his different techniques and media, Hubert de Watrigant offers us a magnificent variety of paintings with each new exhibition. His work and his keen sense of observation give an extraordinary result. Horses and bulls are naturally present but not only…
