If you are a fan of Caty Latham, also known as Caty Latham-Audibert, then this is a sure MUST-Have.

Madame Latham’s career with Hermès spans over five decades and includes some 50 carres.  Many of her designs have become synonymous with the Hermès carré, like her Les Clefs for example or the winter favorite, Neige d’Antan.

Her Soleil de Soie (Silk Sun) scarf embodies a number, twenty to be axact, of her most popular and perhaps most memorable designs, skillfully arranged into one fabulous carre!

Let’s see if we can find all twenty of them:

At the top center is her undoubtedly most famous carre, Les Clefs – the Keys. The Ferronnerie is on the right and the Oiseaux Migrateurs on the left.

Moving along to the right, one of my personal favorites, the Roues de Canon precedes Mexique with its bold feathers.  Farandole‘s lovely butterflies follow suit.

Another personal favorite, her stunning Frontaux et Cocardes cannot be missed and India is represented by the peacock, of course.  The Feux de Route with its oversized coach lights can be spotted right away.

Egypte which powerfully ankers the right lower corner is flanked by the frosty Neige d’Antan, while the Memoire d’Hermes may be slightly more illusive.

Aux Champs and Flies, as in fly fishing lures that is, almost complete this perfect scarf circle. But what would this scarf be without Monsieur Garnier?  You guessed it – incomplete!

Twenty fabulous carres wrapped up into one unforgettable Latham Classic, the Soleil de Soie!
